RS Berkane: how the Oriental club became an African power

Three CAF Confederation Cups and a first Botola title: the rise of the Renaissance Sportive de Berkane.

The Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB) was founded in 1938 in Berkane, in eastern Morocco. Its orange colours have become familiar all over Africa.

An African power

In just a few years, Berkane has become one of the continent's strongest clubs. It won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2020, 2022 and 2025, and the CAF Super Cup in 2022.

Success at home too

The club has also won the Throne Cup several times and claimed its first Moroccan league title in 2025, crowning a remarkable decade.

A stable project

Berkane's rise is built on a stable structure, a demanding recruitment policy and a stadium where visiting teams rarely have an easy night.
