Historic moments
In 2022, Qatar hosted the first World Cup in the Arab world, and Morocco became the first Arab and African team to reach a World Cup semi-final. That same year, Saudi Arabia beat Argentina.
Big events ahead
Morocco will co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, and Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 World Cup.
